Not sure if this is the right topic for this to be in.

I have a long list of things for me and the baby's hospital bag but no idea what my DH needs to take. It's our first baby so I'm clueless and due to Covid things may be different. Please can you advise what he will need to take Smile

Hi, we're planning to just pop on 1x spare top and some snacks and a phone charger to be honest. Chances are he will have to go home after a few hours anyway and return for visiting so he will be able to sort himself out x

I had DD in December 2019 (so pre covid) but DH had in his bag:
Phone charger
Wallet with plenty change for vending machine/hospital shop/costa
Headphones
Snacks - you don't want him eating yours!
Deodorant
Toothbrush & toothpaste
2x clean boxer
A pair of shorts or joggers (can't remember which)
A clean t shirt

I went into hospital at 12pm and gave birth at 2am the following morning. DH stayed with me until 8pm that night (we only stayed in for 1 night)

Oh, he also had a small speaker to connect my phone to play the playlist I made

In 33 weeks and we are just planning toothbrush, change of T-shirt, deodorant, phone charger and snacks just so he can have a quick freshen up as it could be hot, stuffy hospital room, potentially a long established labour etc. He can use my phone charger/portable charger if needed.

Just enough to freshen up- a change of t shirt, deodorant, toothbrush, and then phone charger and money for snacks/snacks. Good Luck! Exciting times ahead!
