Implantation bleeding and then period- help

Hi, I m very confused and I don't know what to believe.

I ovulated on 29th (confirmed by doctor with the scan), I had sex on 28th. Theoretically it worked the match.

On 4th I started to have brown spotting, light cramps, and back pain. I thought it was implantation spotting. And it kept spotting since 9th, yesterday.

This morning 10th, I saw on the paper and on the toilet big red spots. What does it mean? It's my period 3 days early, or it's still implantation bleeding but it changed from brown to red. And the red it's more than how brown was. I had to use period sanitary pad. While with the brown I just had daily pad.

Don't know what to think. What's going on? Please help ☹️ thank you all XX

Hi not sure if this would help at all but did you have a positive ovulation test on the 28th? The egg could take up to 36hours to be released after LH surge plus sperm to meet egg could take anything up to 6 days then implantation on average is 9 days. Have you had a positive pregnancy test? X

Sorry re read confirmed by scan. I've had to CP and had a bit of brown discharge around about 4 days before heavy bleeding and clotting x

If your having to use a pad and it’s bright red it sounds like your period.
Did you get a positive pregnancy test?

Hi @charlotte0808 I had positive ovulation test and on 29th the doctor saw on the scan that the egg was about to pop. However did not have positive pregnancy test, all were negative.

If your having to use a pad and it’s bright red it sounds like your period. Did you get a positive pregnancy test?

That's what I thought too. I will keep an eye on it today and see how it goes. I feel like I use to during period :( sad 😞

I checked again and I saw that I did not have much on the pad. I took a shower and changed the pad to a thin daily pad and I saw after shower just one little drop. No longer red but brown. I m so confused girls. You have no idea. I don't know if is the period or if I might be pregnant and I m actually experiencing implantation bleeding. 🤷‍♀️

Nobody here can tell whether it's implantation bleeding or your period. If you're 12dpo you can take a pregnancy test in a day or two and find out. Good luck x
