Hi :) I’m currently 9w pregnant with my 3rd baby after having two boys and my nausea and sickness are extremely bad this time around - I feel sick all day every day and I’ve had to be put on anti nausea tablets as I can’t cope! I had some nausea in my first two but never this bad.

I also barely had any boob pain at all in my first two but they are so painful this time, and very swollen! Strangely as well in my previous two I used to feel dizzy all the time but I don’t at all this time

I’m wondering if it’s any indicator of the babies sex as I’ve heard sickness can be worse when having a girl, what’s everyone else’s stories?

Nope!

Mine was only that bad when I had twins (boys), nothing with my singleton boy

Frazzledbutcalm · 07/04/2021 22:01

Nope. They told me my sickness probably meant baby was a girl - extra female hormones. What tripe! After 2 boys and 2 girls, equal sickness all throughout with all of them ... it’s just how your body takes to pregnancy, simple as that.

I had days not able to leave the bathroom i was so sick and was on anti sickness medication, never vomited so much in my life. Went on for months.. He is a boy.

My symptoms were different and more intense with a girl - my leg hair also stopped growing which they said was the extra female hormone lol.

But my cousin thought she was having another girl because she had all the same symptoms and was super sick, but it was a boy.

I didn't have any sickness with my 2 boys and was sick as a dog with my girls. Could just be me though. I know plenty of people who only had sickness with their boys and nothing with their girls.

In my experience yes. Had boy first, no sickness but extreme dizziness and bad acne. Girl second and had extreme nausea no dizziness and fairly good skin.

I was horribly sick with my third DS. Was convinced he was a girl... but he wasn't!

Formulation123 · 08/04/2021 18:54

I was more sick with my boy than my girl.

DorotheaHomeAlone · 08/04/2021 18:55

I had no sickness with first two pregnancies - which were one boy one girl - but lots of nausea with my third. I think I was just a lot more tired and no chance to rest third time around. I don’t think baby’s sex makes any difference to anything.

Mine were pretty much identical (one boy one girl). Only time I had different symptoms, it was ectopic.

My leg hair pretty much ground to a halt (and I am hairy!) with both my son and my daughter. I loved shaving less frequently.
