I was not actively TTC however was not on birth control/protection as I was letting it happen organically. Nothing happened. 2 years later I fell pregnant whilst me and my partner were in the middle of splitting up (vile human) I made the decision to have an abortion.. my question is, since it took ‘so long’ to get pregnant in the first place, will it never happen later on when I do actually want to conceive properly??

There is no answer to this question. I conceived one in the first month and took a year for the second. I know people who have never been able to have a second or I know people who struggled with the first and fell easily with the second. You'll never know until you try (unless there's an issue that stopped it happening the first time) If you're struggling with coming to terms with your decision tho I suggest you speak to a counsellor

Aw I'm sorry, hope you're feeling ok x

Maybe because you weren't actively trying you just weren't getting close enough to ovulation until that one time.

It took me 4 years and 2 rounds of ivf to have my son. Problem with with DH sperm count, sperm motility and quality. 8 months after I had my son we got pregnant, unfortunately MC but another 4 months later we got pregnant again naturally and I'm 21 weeks.

No idea why! But things can happen, try not to over think and stress yourself out

Having an abortion will not affect future fertility.

When you actively try to conceive you will presumably be tracking cycles and ovulation, which increases your chances, whereas you haven’t been doing that.
