Maternity winter coats...?

Hello all

I am due in early April so will be at my biggest through the coldest months of the year. I spent ages going through maternity wear sites on the internet today and hardly anyone seems to sell warm winter coats! Are we all meant to be glowing so much we don't need one?

Don't want to spend a fortune, maximum £100.

Anyone seen anything good - either a maternity coat, or a normal coat that is cut in a way that allows space for bump to grow??

Thanks

vickyy

I have a couple of great big arran cardies that a friend has lent me, they've been great. Helps that I don't feel the cold as much due to my ickle internal hot water bottle - and I'm due in a couple of weeks.
Agree with investing in a couple of thick cardis and a scarf. Actual maternity coats are not worth the cost. Though ebay always worth a look!

Thanks for all the advice. Bought a coat today! From Zara (not actually the maternity range). £59, swing coat, double breasted, midlength - comes down to about the top of my thighs. They had it in several colours (black, grey, cream, and I think red). Bought a size larger to give myself a little room to expand - though I suspect Zara sizes are not too generous to start with. (Or have I just been eating too much...)
