Hi all,

Any one else found out they have an anterior placenta but are sure they can feel little movements??
This is my second pregnancy and I am pretty sure it's little movements I'm feeling but also aware I have an anterior placenta so thought I'd feel movements later??
Anyone else?

I have an anterior placenta this time too.
I felt the 1st movements before my dating scan at 13wk, they were few and far between until recently though and I did worry until they told me where the placenta was. I'm now 21+1wk and feel her much more but around the bottom and to the sides, baby number 6 so very sensitive to movement.

@Chelyanne glad to know it's not just me!
Can you feel the movements from the outside yet? My daughter is desperate to feel her baby brother moving xx

I think so but that may be because I feel it inside too. I don't think it'll be long before the rest of the family will be able to feel them.

22 weeks. First baby with anterior placenta. The last few days I have felt movement both inside and from the outside. Felt like I had been waiting forever to feel proper movement! She has gone quiet again today though. Typical x

Hi

I'm 20 weeks pregnant with anterior placenta, and have been feeling baby move for about 2 weeks now. I also thought i'd feel movements later but I think when its not your first (this is DC4) you're more in tune to movements.
Enjoy!

I had an anterior placenta with my first pregnancy and felt movements at 19 weeks. One was even a full kick that my husband could even feel. I was really surprised throughout the pregnancy how much movement I could feel.

Thank you ladies! Feeling very reassured now.
Was worrying loads when I found out I had an anterior placenta as was thinking I'd hardly feel baby at all!

18 weeks with an anterior too. Been feeling movements for around a week now. Definitely not wind haha! Feels like he's rolling! Was confused as i thought id feel them later this time so super happy

I've felt them since 20 weeks, second baby and anterior placenta to and he moves lots, I can feel them quite strong too

I felt movements at 20 weeks with an anterior placenta in my first pregnancy. I have a posterior placenta this time and have felt movements from 15 weeks. I'm 37 weeks now and I have felt much more frequent and strong movements in this pregnancy.

21 weeks with anterior placenta and I'm only feeling occasional movement. The sonographer said they would keep getting stronger and I should feel them more regularly soon though!

@indigo27 I have an anterior placenta and have been able to feel movements since 16 weeks. This is my first x

Easily could be especially with a second baby
