Has anyone got any positive latent labour stories?! I'm currently on day 3 of irregular but intense contractions and just feels relentless. The midwives are saying if I've still not progressed by tomorrow afternoon they'll assess me, but I'm not feeling overjoyed at the prospect of the next 24 hours. Last night contractions were getting longer and closer together and I was feeling positive, then after a few like that they just spaced out and slowed down. It all started early hours of Friday morning but had periods where it was spaced out enough for me to sleep, but the last almost 24 hours the longest break has been about 20 minutes so running on fumes really with no sleep.
Anyone else had this and progressed quite quickly, just feeling a bit down about it all and would be good to hear some positive stories! At this point if I make it to tomorrow I'm happy for them to just get her out, up until now I wanted as natural a birth as possible but the relentless contractions have chipped away at my willpower 😂
