Combined Test Results

Hi, I’ve just had my results for the combined test and it’s come back as 1:230 for DS.
I really thought it would have come back lower as I’m only 26, my BMI is higher as it’s 36 but I really didn’t think it would have come back as 1:230.
So I’m naturally worried now of course and I know some people have much lower results than me but still, I really wasn’t expecting that result.
The cut off in my trust is 1:150 but I know some other trusts the cut off is 1:250 so I would be considered high risk in some places so I’m just really worried.
I can’t see on my letter where it tells me my PAPP score and I have two scores for HCG so I can’t tell if they’re low or high or as they should be?
Any one have any positive stories? Thanks.

I find myself in the same position following my scan last week. My risk is 1 in 9 for Downs & 1 in 30 for Edwards/Patau.

I’m 43 so I’m sure my age likely elevates the risk but did anyone have similar results:

NT 2.9
Hcg 1.09
Papp-a 0.93

They estimated baby to be 12 + 5 on the day of scan/blood test.

I have the NIPT blood test tomorrow. Absolutely terrified as I lost a previous baby due to Edwards in Jan 2020 (NT then was 6 & risk was 1 in 2 for Downs or Edwards)

@Ladybug06 Hi. I hope you don’t mind but I’m also 43 but did egg collection at 40. I had a vanishing twin at 8 weeks so have been really anxious. I’m over 19 weeks and have had to wait to do nipt test. I’m low risk at 1:179 but worried that the afp and Ue3 were slightly lower but in normal range. My NT was 1.7mm and hcg as well as inhibin were slightly over 1 MoM. I do my nipt next week and hoping the dna will be separated to give an accurate result. I hope things worked out for you.
