Chest pain and heart rate

Looking a bit of re assurance! Currently being admitted into hospital as they did an ECG on my heart rate and it was going too quickly. I also have chest pain going on and off. I'm just over 36 weeks!

Because it's my heart, I'm panicking about it and just want to hear if anyone else has been through the same thing.

Thank you.

The same thing happened to me around week 33. My resting heart rate was going crazy at home so I went into triage and they did an ECG which found I had trachycardia (HR was constantly between 100-130).

They did lots of other tests and measurements but apart from slightly raised blood pressure everything else looked ok and baby was moving fine so they sent me home but booked me in for an echocardiogram (heart scan) a few days later. I went in for the scan but that found no problems at all and my heart looked healthy so they weren't worried.

4 weeks later, my heart rate still randomly jumps up between 100-125 but I think it's just one of those weird pregnancy symptoms.

So long as they're checking you out, try not to worry, hopefully it's nothing to worry about at all but at least you're in the right place.
