Keep getting positive pregnancy test on 'answer one step pregnancy test' but negative on 'clear blue digital test'

Hi guys, me and my partner started trying for a baby on March 17th 2021. My period was due on the 31st March 2021 but never arrived. I took a pregnancy test on 1st April 2021 and got two pink lies (faint but noticible) on clear blue normal test and on 'answer one step pregnancy test'. To be honest it was much more noticible on the 'answer one step pregnancy test. Anyway, my sister recommended I take a clear blue digital test and it came back negative. Today, I took another 'answer one step pregnancy test' and there are two pink lines, however i purchased yet another clear blue digital test and it was negative!

Any idea what's going on here? Do you think it's just because i dont have enough pregnancy hormone yet? I'm just confused as on the 'answer one step pregnancy test' the pink line was completely noticible today so I would assume I have enough pregnancy hormone in me?

Any advise would be great as they are so expensive!! £13 for one test!
xx

The clear blue digitals are a lot less sensitive.
If you really want a clear blue one, although you are certainly pregnant.
I'd wait a few days and try again.

Also if you go onto amazon, they have packs of 2 digitals for £11

I see, its frustrating as they say that they are able to detect pregnancy from missed period.. but clearly not? using the same urine sample a cheaper one has picked it up right away... it's just deceiving really.
