I have held of dying my hair up til now and I have never looked worse. My roots are absolutely horrific, pure grey. Do I need to wait until 13 weeks or could I dye it today do you think? Just want to style my hair nice and feel better about myself but will wait if that's recommended. So much mixed info online.

12+3 sorry (if it makes any difference). I'm thinking it's Friday!

Yes, you can dye your hair. It won't get into your blood stream. Hairdressers open soon, you could always wait till then if you can bear it.

Go for it. Dyed mine throughout my three pregnancies.

I really doubt a few days will make any difference. I continued to colour my hair during pregnancy without any issues, although I left it a bit longer in between than I normally would have (every 8 weeks rather than every 5) and made sure the windows were wide open, not sure if it mattered but he'll tolerate the smell 💁🏼‍♀️

Helped^^

It'll be fine.

I decided to embrace my greys pre-pregnancy so have a dodgy dip dye look going on right now. Can't keep dying it forever, about 18mth and it'll have grown enough to be all natural. My natural hair is a lot nicer condition despite being pretty much all white.

Chelyanne · 01/04/2021 11:36

I did dye natural black before

I didn't just because of the smell etc as well. And guess am lucky as my hair goes v glossy and colour good when pregnant.

What about those at home touch up products? Any good?
