Referral to feral medicine

Hi everyone I was just wondering if anyone had been referred to fetal medicine after a 20 week scan and how long you had to wait for an appointment. The scan is a bit of a blur and I thought the sonographer said a consultant would call me but I haven’t heard anything yet just wondering what others experiences were like.

It's usually within days .... I had my 20 week scan on a Friday and the fetal medicine scan was 4 days later- they tend to do it fairly quick!

Can I ask did you receive a letter or call? I’ve had nothing and mine was Friday. Thinking I should probably phone them.

Yes referrals to fetal medicine are usually pretty quick, I would give try and give them a ring to find out.

Mine was via phone call
They tried to fit me in the same day as my 20 week but it was just too busy.
They rang me the next morning and told me it was 3 days later x

I was referred on a Monday and saw them by Wednesday. They did say to me the window for the appointment was within five working days of the referral.
