When to go to doctor after BFP?

Hi, I'm getting BFP on FRER, I'm CD 37 and now late for my period. Frer tests are getting darker but cheapies are faint? I'm going to use digi tomorrow but scared it will be negative if my hcg levels are low?

When do I go to the drs?

Thanks X

You don’t need to, book with the midwife. Good luck!

In my area you just refer yourself to the midwives using an online form Smile I did the referral when I first found out, at about 5 weeks.

It's self referral to the midwife team via hospital website here. I did mine at 6wk (history of chemicals), had booking apps at 8&9wk.

Call your gp and ask. In most areas of the UK, you won't see the dr, but they may tell you how to contact the midwifery team. Your first midwife spot will be when your 8-10 weeks from your last period (which is how pregnancy is dated until your 12 week scan).

It's all pretty anti-climactic, really.

As your GP how you register for the midwife.
However, mine don't let you register with the midwife until at least 6 weeks.
There is no rush to go as you won't have an appointment until between 8 and 10 weeks

In my area the first appointment is with the GP who then refers to the midwife unit. I waited until I was 2 weeks late to test, then waited another week after that to speak to the GP. The first midwife appointment is usually around week 8/9 (but counted from the first day of your last period so technically if you waited until you were a week late/5 weeks after you started your last period they would refer you for an appointment with the midwives in 3/4 weeks time).
