Cramping after climaxing

Hi ladies,
I’ve had 4 recurrent miscarriages in 2020 and am currently 7 weeks pregnant again. (We were told sex in pregnancy was okay by my consultant) we had sex last week and I had the most awful cramping afterwards which lasted around 20mins. We had sex again today and i had some cramping but nothing like last week- I’m now worrying that something is wrong because the cramps weren’t as bad as they were last week. Has anyone else had this? I had a scan Thursday and all was fine with a heartbeat.

I get cramping after sex too.
I think a lot of people do tbh

I get it too - i think it’s normal.

@SnooperTrooper12345 & @Crazycatlady83 thank you both for replying so quickly. I’m more worried that the cramping today wasn’t as bad as it was last week. Do your cramps vary or are they always the same each time?

I don't always get cramps. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.
Different every time.

Every time is different, i think depending on our position! It’s definitely worse if on my back (which we don’t do anymore!) It was also worse in the beginning when I was only a few week (maybe cos there are a hell of a lot of changing going on and your body is trying to figure out what the hell is happening!!)

I did when pregnant too.
