How would feel if you husband made a big purchase without asking your opinion? It was a car, he said he would ask my opinion before purchasing but didn't. The money for the purchase came from parents (both sets) ! I'm probably just feeling emotional as I'm pregnant!

I would be a annoyed with him even if I wasn't pregnant. Do you have everything you need for baby before he brought it? Some money set aside for mat leave? Think it's pretty out of order to not even ask you X

@Janxyb I did know he was going, he has shown me a picture of it online, but he said he wanted me to see it/ drive beforehand, as it will be the family car, then didn't! As I say the money from the both sets of our parents for a car explicitly!

Oh god - you've made me panic. I've just bought a new car (part buy/part trade in) because I couldn't face a baby in a Fiat 500. I didn't even consult my boyfriend. I just sorted it. Should I not have done?😳 he doesn't seem bothered.

Mine got himself motorbike lessons and booked tests too without so much as a word to me. When I said I wasn't happy about it his answer was to give me the same money he spent on it all. Not been allowed to purchase a bike though, I let him get a gym set up instead and I use it more than him now lol. The cars I let him sort anyway as he knows exactly what he's looking for an does pretty much all repairs on both cars himself. I think some things you just have to trust them with and if it turns out to be a lemon you can blame him.
