In need of some positive vibes.

I’m 31 and TTC #1. I had a MMC at the end of November and currently bleeding a chemical pregnancy.

Anyone had a similar experience and got their rainbow baby? Im praying for my next cycle

TIA x

Hi, didn't want to read and run.
No personal experience myself but I do know my grandmother had 3 early miscarriages before she had my mother and her siblings so it's definitely possible. When you concieve again you could talk to your doctor about checking your hormone levels? I know some women are prescribed progesterone or baby asprin after miscarriages as there are hormonal issues at play and they go on to have healthy babies.

I'm really sorry you're going through this OP Flowers

I've had a few chemicals and 2 miscarriages (8 & 9wk) since our last live births and now 19+4wk. I was no stranger to loss, had several chemicals and 3 other miscarriages between our older children too, we've never had any fertility testing done.
If you persist you'll get there, the newborn cuddles are worth the journey.
Good luck and condolences on your losses

@Mikamee thanks for the advice. It definitely sounds like a wise thing to do. I worry there may be underlying issues. Thank you x

I had three MMC before having my daughter. No reason ever found, just bad luck.

So sorry for your your loss OP. I had an MMC in 2019 followed by 3 x chemical pregnancies then the next cycle stuck and DC2 is now almost 1. It’s a shitty horrible thing to go through, I hope you get your sticky one soon x

Mrsbg1990 · 27/03/2021 13:01

@plixy sorry to hear but I’m glad you had your happy ending xx

I had a chemical in June 2020 and MMC in October 2020. But currently 16 weeks after conceiving in Dec 2020 and everything is going fine.

For many women it is just one of those things and doesn't indicate a problem.

Good luck for your next cycle!

Mrsbg1990 · 27/03/2021 13:20

@bananamonkey that sounds awful what you went through I’m so sorry to hear. I’ve read lots online about women conceiving straight after a CP and that fertility is slightly higher. I hope this is the case. Sounds like the key is to keep going. Thank you xx
