So myself and my partner moved in together in January and I'm now 9 weeks pregnant. We're very happy and get along great. However I'm not sure if it's my hormones or what but I've just all of a sudden got this overwhelming feeling of being homesick, looking at photos of my old bedroom and crying! Most days I'm fine but i this is the second time this has happened where I just can't stop crying, the first time was a couple of weeks ago. I'm hoping this is just pregnancy hormones, anyone else? Please tell me this is normal lol x

I’m going to assume you moved out of your parents from the way you are speaking?

Anyway, I moved out my parents and in with my partner 4 years ago. I found it really hard for the first 6 months and would get homesick from time to time. Now I couldn’t go back if you paid me lol.

It’s definitely a mix of hormones and missing your easy life. So I would say totally normally. You’ve only been out the house 2-3 months. Give yourself a break and just enjoy the thought of starting your own family and new memories.
