Very very light brown discharge

Hi

So about 3 hours ago I noticed some really light brown discharge in my underwear when I went to the toilet. It was only a very small amount and hardly noticeable. Nothing when wiping.

I found out I as pregnant about a week ago and think I'm between 5 and 6 weeks. I've had some cramping for over a week which feels like period aches. But this has been maybe once or twice a day and only lasts about 10 minutes. I also get random pains which feel like something is stretching but mainly when I move.

I wasn't worries about the cramps and pains but now I've seen a bit of brown discharge I'm a bit nervous it's the start of something bad.

Anyone had anything similar around this time of pregnancy?

I've had pink and brown spotting between weeks 4 and 7 with all 5 of my pregnancies.
Have had an early scan with 2 of them and doctor confirmed it was leftover blood from implantation

Thanks for the advice!

Hopefully it will be something like that with me. I have a history of DVT so I'm going to see the midwife on Tuesday so I'll mention it there. I'm hoping I get an early scan for the reassurance!

Definitely get it seen but every health professional I spoke to about mine said it was almost always a good sign if it is brown. To be fair I even had red blood in one pregnancy and all was ok! But the most important thing is to get seen, only when you get a scan will you have real peace of mind

Yeah I will definitely mention it to the midwife. Hopefully they will give me an early scan. I'm thinking I might get a private one at 7-8 weeks for reassurance.

Hey @bages1977, just wondering out it turned out and if your pregnancy was all ok in the end 💐?
