Maternity allowance

So I've been declined smp from my work 10 days before my baby is due!!
This is because they have used my November and December pay to calculate my weekly earns, I had one day sick in November which has lowered that months pay, which makes me not eligible for smp.

I can claim maternity allowance, however, when sending my payslips, I was on smp last year as I fell pregnant as I returned to work, can I send the payslips where I was on smp or do I need to send the ones where I was actually in work?

Thank you so much in advance!

SMP is always calculated using the the 2 payslips prior to the 25th week of pregnancy so the months they've used aren't chosen by them.

You can choose any payslips you like when applying for matenity allowance so use the ones where you had the highest earnings

Smp payslips are fine . You choose 13 highest payslips in last 66 weeks x
