Gender scan at 16 weeks? Too early?

Hi

Thinking of going for a private gender scan at around 16 weeks. Has anyone had one at 16 weeks and it be to early to tell?

I had mine at 16+4wk. Got a clear look between the legs and some lovely pictures too.

I hope not! I've booked mine for 2 weeks I will be 16+4 really hope we get a good view so i can start buying some lovely clothes!

I had a scan at 15+6 and it was clear! You could have one at 20 weeks and still not be able to tell due to position of baby though!

I had one at 16+1 and it was very clear he was a boy confirmed at the 20 week NHS one also
