Not pregnant. But trying and confused with my period!

Hi everyone! I put this in the conception thread too but just looking for some input anywhere really lol.
Sorry if this is long! Can anyone who has had the same help me please haha so basically my partner and I are trying for baby no.3 and we had sex during my fertile window and after. My periods are like clockwork and are always the same. This month my period was due Monday 22nd March. On Monday when I wiped there was some blood so I thought ok not pregnant, period is here, so put a pad on. The flow didn't get any heavier which it always always does! There was blood in the pad and some when I wiped but not enough to fill a pad. I thought maybe I was just stressing out and upset my period arrived and that was stopping my flow getting heavier? Haha so I went to bed and expected to wake up on Tuesday with a heavier flow. Got up, used the bathroom and again blood in the pad and a bit when I wiped but not heavy at all, tmi but usually I get up in the morning and there's a lot of blood but there wasn't. I had cramping through the day in work but again not filling a pad anywhere near as much as normal. Same again on Wednesday and by Wednesday evening I had nothing. Not even when I wiped. So basically this cycle was shorter and WAY lighter than I've ever had in my life. I took a pregnancy test on Wednesday afternoon and it was negative. I have been nauseous, really tired, headaches and going crazy as to what caused my period to be that way. Have more tests here but don't want to waste them cause ive clearly had my period? Was it just stress that made my cycle messed up? Losing my mind! Lol thank you if you've read this far lol

How old are you? Occasionally women have cycles where they don't ovulate, these increase with age.

Do you track fertility signs other than your period?

No I don't track any other way, we have only decided last month to start trying, didn't want to put too much pressure on anything but as time goes on I will look into other ways :)

I have 5 months and 13 days old baby. After baby’s birth, my periods cycle was normal (22 Dec, 20 Jan, 22 Feb) but now in March, little Spotting for three days (21,22,23 March). I had an emergency c section with the baby so my concern is whether I am pregnant or not. Pregnancy test still shows negative results. I have contacted GP but he said that I should take another test towards end of this week and then call the surgery.

You may have had an anovulatory cycle this month.
I find noting your cervical mucus, if nothing else, is helpful to identify if you're ovulating but totally get if you don't wanna chart anything yet

I had never even heard of that before! Just looked up what that even means 🙈 will keep an eye on cervical mucus this month and jot it down! Thanks so much for the help :)

It was not a planned one. The protection didn’t work. I am feeling nervous as i have the fear that the scar might open with growing tummy.

Aww I'm sure you are nervous! Hopefully for you, it was just a light period and you get another negative test by the end of the week! But if it is positive I'm sure speaking to your GP will put your mind at ease in regards to your scar etc :)

If a negative test is what you want I meant to say! Then I hope for you, you get the result you want :)

Sorry I have logged in today on the website as struggling with post natal depression. So, I got the periods two weeks ago although I had nausea for one two days in between the weeks before periods.
