Upset tummies with cramps and diarrhoea?! 6 weeks

Hey all. I’m 6 weeks today and since I found out at 4+2 (and a little before this, looking back) I’ve suffered from upset tummies and diarrhoea almost permanently. I was eating a lot of salad but I’ve tried to add things like crackers and breadsticks in. I definitely am not eating so much fruit and salad that it would cause diarrhoea! I also get horrible trapped wind pains followed by the need to run to the toilet. It’s making me scared to eat whilst I’m at work in case the toilets are busy, and I’m avoiding eating on an evening so the pains don’t wake me up. I have a 30 minute drive to work too which I hate! Has anyone else had something similar? Is there anything I can try to help it ease a little? It’s also making me feel really rubbish. I am taking pregnacare. I was taking 1 iron tablet per day due to low ferritin but have stopped these for now!!

I suffered from diarrhea in early pregnancy. It is not fun but it will pass.
However, i would go to the GP or MW if i were you just to make sure it not an infection or something like that.
For me it was just hormones. I adjusted my food (as much as possible with morning sickness). But to keep it under control i would really look into making sure you aren't eating too much fibers dairy caffeine or anything that irritates the bowels etc... and lots of water!!!!
On days where it was bad i would also take these minerals rehydration sachets

Most likely down to hormones but you should discuss with the GP if it persists.
You could try adding in a probiotic drink to your diet, I found this helped with digestive changes.
