Hi just wondering if anyone is in or has been in the same situation ! I’m 28 weeks. Pregnant with my 2nd child due a c section in June , (2nd c section) I have been offered to go in twice a week (start of week and end) to get my movements tracked , it’s been discovered that I am completely numb from the belly button downwards inside my womb due to scar tissue from previous c section , so if baby’s laying along the bottom I can’t feel anything I can go all day with out feeling anything so it’s a way of keeping an eye on it , they have said it’s going to be stressful for me because I can’t feel baby most of the time so I can’t track the movements my self so it’s a way of making me feel better ... did anyone find this helped them ?

Hi, sorry I have no experience of this, but following as I’m interested to hear what others say.

I’ve had 3 sections and have had complete numbness from below my belly button ever since my first section but monitoring was never mentioned.

I can’t say it ever affected me feeling movement but perhaps it did!

Currently 14+3 and have already been feeling tiny movements for the last couple of weeks so maybe I’m not as numb inside as my skin is on the outside!

@Moominmiss thanks for the reply ! Yeah if someone touches my stomach I can feel it and it actually quite painful when being touched but they have scanned and said it’s because a lot of scar tissue has formed and fussed inside and obv with the baby growing it stretching it ! But in the inside they think I’m completely numb ! It’s just so stressful not knowing when baby’s moving or not x
