Hi ladies, just after a bit of reassurance please!

I'm 4weeks 4days preg so super early but having slightly more cramping on my left side - would you be concerned?

I had to speak to the Dr yesterday anyway and told them, she asked to see me on clinic which I was confused with seeing as I was so early but went and ended up leaving the appointment feeling so much worse than before.

She said it could be the start of an ectopic but I've just got to wait and see and her concerns were also that my PG test positive line wasn't really dark.

Ended up coming home and retaking a test - all of which had dark positives including a CB Digi that has gone up to 2-3 from 1-2 last Wednesday.

Did anyone else experience more cramping on one side than the other and went on to have a normal pregnancy?

We are going to book an private early scan because i can't wait until week twelve but just looking for some reassurance after a very deflating day yesterday.

TIA x

Hi OP, it’s really normal to have aches and pains in early pregnancy. It could be that you ovulated from your left side. In early pregnancy, a corpus luteum forms on the ovary you ovulated from and it produces progesterone to support the pregnancy. They can cause pain in the first few weeks and it’s very common and normal.

Keep an eye on it and get more help if it becomes severe or you are worried though.

Hi. I can't say I have had a successful pregnancy as this is my first ever pregnancy successful or not. I am 7w+5 now but around 4/5 weeks I had short sharp stabby pain in my left side round about where I'd expect my ovary to be. This pain would only last a few seconds then stop, usually brought on my moving too fast or sitting in an awkward position. My pains have now subsided but look up round ligament pain, it sounds very similar to what I experienced xx

@BrownF89 hi hun I'm also 4 wks and 3 days and had mild pain on my side, in fact on my lower abdomen, twinges, slight lower back pain etc but as long as its not painful and ur not bleeding its normal. 🙂

Hi 😃 I'm around 4w 4d gone, and I've been cramping too. Been quite scared as they feel like period pains, and I'm terrified everytime I 'wipe' (TMI sorry). I also pee every 15 mins which is driving me insane 😂
