Is my labour about to start

I am currently 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant, all day I have had on and off period pain and my legs are aching like I'm on my period, I have felt sick all day on and off too. One big thing I've noticed is my dog is super super super clingy for the last couple of days but especially today. My belly is rock solid and I'm having abit lightening crutch here and there too: could this mean my labour may be about start?

Maybe, maybe not. You'll just have to wait and see.

It sounds like your body is getting ready which is a good sign but this can go on for weeks.

I could have written this post!!! Except 37 bang on today, have been reading other threads and seems this can go on a while. This isn’t my first but this pregnancy has been very different so who knows. Good luck whatever happens, or doesn’t!

I’m 34 weeks and have been convinced all day labour was about to start. Had the worst cramps and tightening really bad as well.
Eased off a bit now but really at one point was panicking I was gonna go into early labour.
