I liked it for the slightly unusual spelling, preferred to isabelle/isabel.

Behindthename has a popularity section with the top 500 names and the ONS obviously has a lot more which can be a good source of inspiration. The names 50 - 400 or so will largely be in the 'not that unusual but not too common either'. Even one of my teen DC has a name that was in the top 40 when he was born, and we've met one other one his age once and all them including the one with a name just in the top 3000 has books that include her name which was part of my picking process.
