16 weeks and no longer "feel pregnant"

Hey
I'm 16 weeks and just don't feel pregnant anymore- it's making me very anxious about my midwife appointment next week. I know I'm probably worrying over nothing!
We also have a scan booked and I'm just worrying they're going to say nope sorry you're not pregnant (I know it's probably silly) 😂🤦🏽‍♀️
Anyone else 16 weeks and stopped feeling pregnant??

Yup, completely normal. This is the “good” part of pregnancy if you take away the anxiety. I’m 33 weeks and look back at the second trimester and remember just how good and normal I felt.

I'm the same a lot of the time. All the 1st trimester symptoms had subsided but babys movements are easily missed. I had a scan at 16+4 to break up the 7 week wait from dating scan to anomaly scan and she was doing well. She follows 2 mc's and a few chemicals so I do worry a lot, 18+4 atm 1.5 weeks to my next scan now.

I'm the same have my midwife appointment next week. If it wasn't for my rounded tummy I would forget, I am tired but otherwise well and just making the most of it exercise wise.

Currently 18 weeks and counting down the days until my 20 week scan because I feel so "normal" now.

Haven't felt movements yet either which isn't helping (although I know they might take a little longer).

Also my 16 week appointment was over the phone, so I didn't get to hear the heartbeat (a friend of mine has the same due date and is with the same trust and for some reason got a face to face appt!).

Sounds great!
I'm currently in 1st trimester hell but remember really enjoying the second trimester last time.

I always found the 16-19 weeks kind of time quite anxiety inducing as you don’t have symptoms any more but also don’t have movements yet; once you feel baby moving it changes

I'm outside of UK and going private for pregnancy&labour. My consultant provides a routine "reassurance" scan at 16 weeks for all his patients, as is this is such a common worry! So I'm sure all is fine with you. Best of luck OP.

Hey, that is completely normal! From the second trimester onwards with my first I felt completely normal.

Just wish it was this same this time round lol.

PrimeraVez · 21/03/2021 04:15

I’m in exactly the same situation! 16+2 and apart from a rounded tummy, I don’t feel pregnant! This is my third baby so I remember this weird limbo stage from last time, so just telling myself to enjoy the disappearance of morning sickness and make the most of my newly returned energy!

So glad I found this thread! I'm 17+1 and feel the same! Apart from feeling a bit chunky u feel fine! Also have an anterior placenta so won't feel movement for a while!
I have a private gender scan tomorrow so really looking forward to that!

Thank you ladies so nice to know I'm not alone- my partner thinks I'm crazy and should just relax and calm down!
I told him don't ever tell a pregnant hormonal woman to calm down 😂😂😂
I have my midwife app on Thursday so hopefully will get to hear the heartbeat and calm my nerves! Xxxx
