To friends/family and publicly (if you did)?

Our first I just sort of blurted it out, out of shock. But now just wondering if I could do #2 in a nicer, calmer/more fun way? Tell me your stories ☺️

I put a 'promoted to big sister' t shirt on my daughter with a coat on top and took her to my parents so they could read it when they took off her coat

Had an "I'm going to be a BIG BROTHER" tshirt made. Put it on him with a shirt over the top. We told him to ask nanny and granddad to take off his shirt when we get to their house. He ran up to them and told them to take it off. His granddad took it off but didn't read the message underneath. Our son sat there for 40 minutes before they read his tshirt. It was funny that the message was right in front of them without them realising. They were so excited when they finally read it. They said to my son "you're going to be a big brother" His response was "I know. I knew ages ago". Grin

I stacked our shoes up the stairs with a name tag next to them (Daddy, Mummy, Noah and at the bottom a little pair of booties with a note saying coming August 2019. Then took a photograph and our nearest and dearest were given that as our announcement.
