Dilation is your cervix so wont be looked at on scan. They will be able to see if your babys head is engaged as part of their head will not be visible if they're fully or well engaged.

Has the midwife noted that heads engaged? They write 1/5 2/5 etc or fully. When they feel baby they normally check for how moveable the babys head is.

Back pain and bloody show are signs of labour...but annoyingly with pregnancy sone early signs of labour can also just be pregnancy niggles. I'd get any bleeds checked though.

Dilation ect won't tell you how close you are to labour.
My last baby was 4/5 engaged from 36 weeks and I was 3cm dilated from 37 weeks. Had constant braxton hicks and losing plug.
Ended up being induced at almost 42 weeks
