Pregnancy acne out of control

Help!!!!

My pregnancy acne is getting out of control.

When I came off my pill I started to get acne on the top of my back and chest. I have benzoyl peroxide from the doctor which has never seemed to do much.

No I am pregnant it is just everywhere. All over my chest, arms, shoulders, all over my back top to bottom, the top of my bum.

It is really getting me down. Not only is it really uncomfortable but it looks horrible and I will absolutely not wear anything that shows this, leaving me with pretty much high neck and long sleeves,
This doesn't sound good for a summer pregnancy wardrobe.

Is there anything I can try?!?!
Is it worth going back to the doctors, is there anything else they can give me while I'm pregnant???

Any advice much appreciated Daffodil

How many weeks are you? I had beautiful skin with my son but when pregnant with my daughter my skin was terrible for the first trimester. It went back to normal in the second trimester though as my morning sickness eased. I tried various skin treatments but it was completely hormonal so nothing I could do but wait it out.

I'm 17 weeks! I had it with my first pregnancy too but not this bad.

When I was on contraception only the yasmin pill helped, I don't want to go back on the pill this time round so I'm worried I'll be stuck with it forever!!

I'm 17 weeks, just found out I'm having a boy. I have pregnancy acne on my right cheek and also all over my back. I've never had a spot on my back before in my life. Praying it will clear up soon as summer is approaching Sad

I get horrible back acne when pregnant and the only thing that has helped is Murad Clarifying Body Spray. It’s pricey but works really well

Hey I have pcos and took the Yasmin pill. Since I came off my skin has been bad! I’ve just got much better at applying make up...

I take metformin and try to have a low sugar diet, this regulates blood sugar and helps with pcos symptoms so I believe this is helping make my acne not too bad. It’s manageable but I definitely miss my clear skin from when I was on the pill!

Not sure if that helps or not xx

I have acne on my face anyway but since about 6 weeks pregnant it was absolutely awful, Duac wasn't doing anything, all my usually go to products were doing nothing :(

I'm 33 weeks now and my skin has cleared up loads. I've started just using a bar of Dove soap to wash my face and then using The Ordinary Squalene Moisturiser and this is the best my skin has looked all pregnancy. Not sure if it's due to the soap and moisturizer or if it's just settling down naturally
