hi everyone I am 10 weeks pregnant and since yesterday I've started experiencing the way back pain I wanted to know if this is normal?

I get worried about everything because I've had a previous miscarriage and a previous termination of pregnancy due to fit a abnormality

I have also been diagnosed with a subchorionic haematoma.

@Dhano21 I don't have any advice I'm afraid, but I'm glad I read this as I've been getting lower back ache the last few days and wasn't 100% sure if it was normal or not! Am 20+3. Hope yours eases up x

Depends what kind of back pain. Achy / stabbing / mild / so agonising you can't breathe? Where in your back?

Unless it's agonising I really wouldn't worry if it's only been one day. If you're concerned, call your midwife and check. That's what they're for!

@FeistySheep for me it's just mild lower back pain and isn't there all the time. Seems to depend what position I'm in x

If it feels like muscular pain (does rubbing it help, or can you feel it stretching out when you do stretches?) I think it's just part and parcel of pregnancy, sorry!
If it feels more internal than muscular, I'd get it checked out.

@FeistySheep I think it's just muscle ache from sitting down too long or awkwardly etc. Will keep an eye on it though :)

I am 26 weeks today and have just started with horrendous back pain. Sleep is a thing of the past but having spoken to my midwife, it is very normal. Extra cushions and pillows under your side and bump do help ease the pain when trying to sleep, they just constantly fall off in the night which is frustrating 😂

@Stph15 I have a massive pregnancy pillow which is a godsend! I do find my back aches the most when I first lie down to sleep, but seems to ease up ☺️

That's good!! I slept with a hot water bottle behind my back last night and had the best night's sleep I have had in a long time! Wrapped it up in a pillow case to make a bit safer but it was amazing.
