11+4 and slightly tan/beige/yellow discharge when wiping?

When I’ve been wiping occasionally for the past 2 days, I’ve had some strange slightly tan/beige/yellow discharge when wiping? I’ve not had any in my pantyliner but should I contact my midwife? Just got her mobile number yesterday and don’t want to annoy her already Blush

Does it have an odour/is it making you itchy? You'll probably notice that the amount of discharge you get increases lots during pregnancy! I wear a panty liner, I did have yellowish discharge and it turned out to be thrush, just phone them if you're worried, they might want to swab it as it could also be BV.

@abeanbaked I've not been itchy, but might get checked anyway, thank you. It's just weird that it's not every time I wipe or on my pantyliner! I have a scan today to check on baby anyway

Mine is yellow from time to time, from what I’ve read it’s normal. If it’s lumpy, smelly or you feel itchy could be an infection so you could get swabbed to be sure. Let us know how your scan goes!

It sounds normal to me. Mine is like that 90% of the time.

@Boxsky how did you get on stage your scan hun? I've had the same thing, a bit worried...

It happened a few times, a light brown/tan shaded when wiping. But very irregular, it happened just a few wipes over a few days (and with the amount I pee, I'm wiping constantly!) but nothing left on my pants. I had a little cramping but nothing abnormal to my day-to-day twinges/niggles.

Hey - just back from scan! It was so amazing, saw baby standing on its head, waving and kicking arms around...! I have a small area of bleeding which has been seen. Tbh, wasn't surprised as I had a Subchoronic bleed at 6 weeks and this is probably just the last of it but is barely existent compared to what it was! Spoke to GP who was useless, but said that brown spotting/discharge is perfectly normal. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone (and myself!!) x

@Boxsky that’s so great!! Have you got your 12 week scan soon or was that it today? Xx

Boxsky · 17/03/2021 11:08

@Cafeaulait27 12 week is booked in for next Thursday! Today was an impromptu to calm me down and because husband can be there too, hes not allowed to 12 week scan Sad I would have daily scans if I could Wink
