When did you start wearing maternity clothes with no.2?

This has probably been done to death but just curious. I'm 10 weeks with no.2 and already thinking I will need to get my maternity clothes out of the loft as I already have a visible bump! In my first pregnancy I lost weight initially with HG and though I've got it again this time it's not been as bad and I've already put on 1.5kg through eating calorific crap that I can stomach with the nausea. I swear my bump now is the size it was first time around when I was like 18 weeks or so Shock

when did you start wearing maternity clothes with no.2? Smile

I'm 9 weeks and have already started wearing my old maternity jeans. I'm suffering quite badly with nausea and indigestion, so I figured there was no point in being uncomfortable too. I had HG in my first pregnancy as well, so lost a lot of weight in the first trimester. This time I'm not vomiting as much, and eating lots of rubbish. I look about 4-5 months pregnant already Blush

By about 14 weeks. By four months I looked six months pregnant and by the time I was six months people were asking if I was going to give birth any day now. Blush
I’m 5ft 3 if that helps. I’m guessing baby didn’t have much room to stretch out!

First baby I was around 20w. Second baby about 10/11w and I'm 33w now with my third baby and started wearing about 8/9w.

First baby around 22 weeks, though could have just used a button extension for a while. Nearly 17 weeks with no 2 and so far no bump but I'm size 18 to start with.

22-23 weeks. I wanted legal confirmation that they couldn’t sack me because I was pregnant and the person I needed to speak to was on extended leave. I had my bump determinedly crammed into my jeans and was doing my best not to look pregnant. I had terrible morning sickness and would get up at 5 so that I could puke and would be feeling better by the time I went to work. It was mad. Once I had had it confirmed that they couldn’t sack me, I was in maternity clothes the next day (and puking at work).

With my first it wasn’t until 18 weeks but with my second I started at 12 weeks with maternity jeans as I felt so bloated

SecondhandTable · 16/03/2021 16:06

Marple Yes I'm similar! I'm actually 11 weeks not 10, I mistyped in my OP. I've been housebound since week 6 with sickness so all I've been wearing is leggings, joggers and PJs since then, there is no way I would fit into my jeans. I keep getting a shock when I see my tummy as I look so much more pregnant than last time!
