Hi everyone I am a first time mum and having a son I'm currently 37+3 and on Wednesday I had to go into the hopsital due to me having contractions and they told me I had dilated 1cm, I was then sent home and due to the contractions I was back in hospital Thursday and Friday, on Friday they confirmed that I was in the latent phase of labour and was only still 1cm! So frustrating Shock every morning I've been having quite bad contractions and terrible pain at the bottom of my back and on Saturday morning at 9:30ish I lost my bloody show and throughout of Saturday lost my mucus plug, its currently now sunday and I'm still loosing my mucus plug every time I wipe but I haven't had no contractions just bad lower back pain and constantly feeling drained and struggling to walk now :(, I know everyone's pregnancy is different but for a first time mum having a son what was everyone's else story on the latent phase off labour? And how long was everyone in it for please when loosing their plug/bloody show? im just interested.

Thank you Megan :)

I lost my plug at 36 weeks, was 3cm dilated.
Had contractions on and off and after almost a week and a half of on and off contractions, they stopped, I was checked and still 3cms. Didn't have baby until 41+3
