Best place for baby shops in Somerset/Devon/Dorset?

My daughter is pregnant and I want to take her shopping for baby bits eg. Clothes, bedding, slings etc and also to look at pushchairs and cots. We live in South Somerset. I haven’t been baby shopping for years so haven’t really taken any notice of what shops there are, I’ve only just realised that Mothercare is no more! 😱
I’m thinking of Exeter, Bath or Bristol maybe, they are our usual ‘day out shopping’ choices.
Would love recommendations on where has the best variety of shops, including independent shops. TIA

Cribbs Causeway have John Lewis which have Prams/nursery furniture and there is a next home in one of the retail parks nearby which also has a mamas and papas in it

I like Babygear in Bridport. They are very helpful.
