Bloody Show 33+5 Weeks

Hi Everyone,

I'm 33+5 days. This morning I had a bloody show this is my 2nd pregnancy my daughter is away to be 9.

I've been achy this afternoon but had nothing else yet. I'm worried but not enough symptoms to phone triage. I have a 34 week scan on Monday to see how big the baby is so was going to mention this to my consultant as I see her after it.

Anyone have any positive stories, early baby and everything ok? Nothing happened for weeks etc?

Hi, I had similar around 33 weeks also! Had browny mucus so phoned triage who said keep an eye and cal back if any more. A few hours later it was bloody mucus so they wanted to see me. Movements etc were fine and no pain. Baby was monitored for about half an hour and all was fine. They examined me and said cervix closed etc so just one of those things. I had a growth scan as scheduled about 4 days after and all was ok and have had nothing since and currently almost 37 weeks, so not sure what it was!

I've had this with both pregnancies early and still went over due.

Call triage and see what they say though
