ClearBlue digital with weeks indicator - anyone use these early on to track progress?

I have had 4 losses in total, and one was a missed miscarriage where the baby died at 6 weeks and I had no idea as I was still getting symptoms. I was using ClearBlue Digital tests with the ‘weeks’ indicator and I noticed I never got off 1-2 weeks

I’m now pregnant again (5w 3d) and I’ve had some nausea etc but it feels like it’s worn off, although I do still have painful boobs. I’m really tempted to take a ClearBlue test again to see how many weeks it says I am, I should be 3+ or at least 2-3 now but I’m completely expecting 1-2 and another doomed pregnancy :(

I'm just wondering if anyone is using these tests to track progress? Thanks :)

I brought a pack of two a tested 1.5 weeks apart to track how many weeks it said and it increased for me. I’m not sure what worse though, worrying or taking it and not getting the answer the want. Sorry I’m not much help.

I took normal pink dye tests until I got a strong line, and then when I was 6 weeks I did a clear blue weeks indicator and I was really scared, but I got 3+. I waited until 6 weeks even though it would say it at 5 because I didn’t want to scare myself. However now I’ve stopped testing, I’m 9 weeks xx

It worked for me in that the indicator moved along as expected in viable pregnancies (2) but didn’t in non viable pregnancies.

Hey sorry to hear about your losses, that is really tough. I did use CB digital to show 1-2 then tested again the following week to get 2-3 and then bang on the following week for 3+. Then I had one left, and a few days later I took it just for no reason other than boredom and it said 2-3. So of course I totally panicked. This was at about 6 weeks. I decided to book in for a private early scan at 7w2d and saw baby heartbeat and everything was fine. So whilst the CB can be good, if you are very nervous I would try to get an early scan (you can probably get one through NHS because of your losses?) and they will of course be more reliable. Good luck to you xx

I've used them for every pregnancy when they accurately predicted all but 1 of my 5 miscarriages and 2 ectopics

People say not to trust them but used before 6 weeks I do think they can indicate whether the pregnancy is viable or not of it doesn't move up the levels when it should

I wouldn't, I think they will cause you more anxiety.

I tried doing the same and my test didn't progress from 2-3 to 3+ when it should've done, I think it took about 10 days to change and I was so upset, convinced myself I was going to miscarry again and that something was wrong (32 weeks now so everything was okay). I've seen a lot of other women experience the same too.

Should also add that they went up as normal in my first pregnancy which was actually a blighted ovum so I used them first time around thinking everything was fine as the tests were progressing as they should

They are not a good indicator of pregnancy viability, scans aren't either tbh. All you can do is hold on to hope that it will work out this time. I know how hard it is as I've been through it a lot. Congratulations and good luck.

I've never done line progression, I do however take weekly tests until I hit 6 weeks as I have had many chemical pregnancies before self referral to the midwife team. Had 5 mc's between 8 & 12wk, I have had 5 children from 4 term pregnancies and 17+4wk atm. I worry constantly with this little one, 2 mc between her and our last (twins). My most recent mc I had a scan which confirmed a hb at 8+3 then lost it at 9+3, chances of loss after seeing hb lower but are still there.

Thank you everyone, I did it today and got a 3+ 😊 I know it doesn't guarantee things'll be ok but just getting to this point helps me relax a little bit!
