Has anyone gotten pregnant with existing prolapse? I’m 32 and I have two boys. Found out October last year I have grade 1/2 uterine prolapse and slight prolapse of anterior vaginal wall.
We’d love a third baby but I’m literally terrified of it getting worse. Obviously it’s still early days, I do all my physio work and am going to spend this year fully dedicating to getting myself stronger down there to hopefully be able to have another pregnancy for when we start trying next year.
I don’t want a C section, in fact the thought of that terrifies me more than giving birth with a prolapse (I don’t do well after operations) but is this really the only option?
Also how easy is it to conceive with a prolapse? I’ve gotten pregnant fairly easily within a couple of months for each of my pregnancies (one ended up being ectopic) but I can imagine it’ll be harder this time.
My family have asked me why I want to put my body through this after everything, but I just don’t feel done having babies. 😫
Any help/advice appreciated!!! 🙏
