Oh my god someone suggest a boys name I dont hate!!

So it's my second pregnancy. Early on so got ages to decide but I swear theres no boys names I love. My daughter is called Elizabeth Rose, which I loved from the start. If I'm having a girl I've got a few I like, but as for a boy I'm stuck!

Surname will be Roskilly.

Kind of want something that is classic like Elizabeth but can also be shortened to something easy (Elizabeth gets Ellie)

Joseph is classic and can be Jo for a nice nickname. Joe and Ellie sounds super cute!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I like William/Billy but unfortunately that's my ex partner (daughters dads name) 😂 and then the other issue we are having is myself and my partner will think of a name we like and then go "oh hang on, remember that awful person at work named ..." and then the name is ruined for us.

I totally feel your pain. I’m only 4 months but have been looking at names for a while. Had one boys name we both liked, we’re not both not a massive fan of “traditional” names, not many names goes with our surnames. I’ve liked ONE for a while for a while and had kind of settled on it for a boy, but our friends have just had a little boy and named it that name... I cried. (Blame pregnancy hormones I’m not usually this wet!)

Alexander is a very nice name though. A few nn choices too and goes well with your daughters name.

My son is called Noah George and I'm currently expecting my 3rd baby who's sex is a surprise. If it's a boy we'll be using the name Benjamin Oliver 🙂
