12 week scan... anyone wanna wait with me?

Currently 10 weeks. Turns out I’ll be exactly 13 weeks at my scan don’t they know I am impatient?? If I hadn’t paid for a private scan at 8 weeks I wouldn’t even believe I’m pregnant!

Im 12+3 and my ‘12 week’ scan isn’t until I’m 14 weeks lol.

No way I could have waited til then. Like you I’ve had a few private scans. Including a NIPT test and scan yesterday so I did get to see baby.

I’ll wait with you lol. Mines next week finally, I’ll be 13+2.
Im the same, if j didnt have an early scan and missed periods i wouldn't believe im pregnant either lol. Literally no symptoms at all but im trying not to let that worry me and just taking it as im having a good pregnancy lol. Other 2 were easy too tbh. How are you feeling?

Hi ya my 12 week scan in Monday! I actually don't know how far gone I am 🤦🏼‍♀️. But will def be over 11 weeks.
I'm so so anxious that something will be wrong. Actually the reason I didn't pay for a private one as I'm not ready for sad news 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I’m really absolutely fine and not very pregnant at the moment. I had quite bad nausea around 8/9 weeks and then nothing (not that I’m complaining) tempted to book another private scan but no I just need to be patient!

@Skymum82 have you had losses before? Is that why you’re so worried? I was so so nervous before my private scan and almost cancelled but so glad I didn’t and got the reassurance I needed

I’m waiting. I’m having mine on Monday. I’ll be 13+4 I have had a couple of early scans due to on and off bleeding which is still ongoing. The wait is agony.

13+5 even. I’m cutting it fine!

I'm the exact same! I'm 9+6 today and don't have my '12 week scan' until I'm 13+4!

So gutted cause it's nearly another 2 weeks into when I've been looking forward to feeling more relaxed, even though I did have an 8 week scan where everything was perfect!

Yes I have I had a well a very traumatic first pregnant. I always class it as a mmc but it was a little more complicated than that. However my first we got to the 12 week scan and got devastating news. Since then I have always had our scans with a consultant (very thorough scans). My last pregnancy he told me it won't be needed any more as the issue I had they just found it is very unlikely to happen again... however still have extreme fear. Also I pcos and needed fertility drugs for all mine, however managed to conceive with none and not trying (using condoms). It all seems to good to be true. Although at the same time stressful as unplanned and my youngest is 6 and just such a shock!

I have felt very very sick though 24/7 and still do 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is one thing that shocked me when I became pregnant. I thought pregnant people got waaaay more scans that we actually do! hahah.
We paid for 2 early ones at 6 weeks and 10 weeks then we had our 12 week at 12w+2 and they dated us at 13+4! Got another private one tonight at 16+2 and then our 20 week scan isn't until the 8th April...

We had a loss before so are really anxious to make sure everything is still going okay in there.

I'm waiting too! I'm 11w2d and my scan is next Tuesday exactly on 12w.

I'm going through moments of excitement and terror. I definitely feel pregnant, so many yucky symptoms which do seem to be easing slightly and no signs anything is wrong but still paranoid it might be bad news. First pregnancy so have nothing to go on!

The wait is unreal.

I'll wait with you! Mine is today at 12+4 but it felt an age from 10 weeks so I fully get your anticipation! I have been a nervous wreck all week! We had a scan at 6+6, 8+3 and 10+4 already so im hoping for good news today 🙏

My 12 week scan is next week by which time I’ll be 13+5! I’m really getting impatient now, I just want to know if there’s 1 or 2 in there cos I already look about 5 months gone 🙈

@ReassureMee god I have that worry too 🤦🏼‍♀️. I'm more worried everything is ok, slight worried about twins this is number 4! I couldn't deal with more. I have been so sick this time hubby keeps saying I bet twins lol

@Skymum82 well good luck!! This will be my second, however my DS will only be 13months when new baby arrives 🙈 I don’t know how I would manage 3 under two 😂

Lol. Good luck that would be crazy! My first 2 are 20 months apart, my third was 4 years younger than my first. I loved my first 2 being so close in age meant we got to do so many things together. Actually all 3 love playing together the youngest I do feel missed being young (she is only 5 but acts like her older siblings and just want to do what they do).
It's going to be weird this time as when baby is born will have a 11, 9 and 6 year old so will be a massive gap

I'm 10+3 and my scan is at 12+2 so feeling quite lucky.
Have NIPT booked for next Friday (11+3) and that will be my first scan - so nervous.
Happy to wait with you :) the days are going so slowly!

Got sent a follow up appointment for 2 weeks after my 12 week scan.. anyone know what that is for? Sorry if that's a stupid question.

I’m 9+6 and not heard anything from my midwife yet, let alone a scan date. Would be nice to have some contact as I have serious complications at the end of my last pregnancy and will need consultant led care 🙄

@ChelseaCat - have you been assigned a midwife? I ask because I had a nightmare getting one; my GP gave me a number for a service in another county that only ever rang out, asked again after 2 weeks & got told to keep trying.
Anyway, not bashing them, they're usually good but, COVID, so I had to contact NHS England to get assigned a midwife and now I have a lovey one - slow to reply, but by the sounds of it it's a baby boom in Bedfordshire!!

If you're struggling to get seen, contact NHS England and they sort things out pretty quickly.

@ILoveBountys There’s a named midwife who covers the town I live in so I know who it should be. If I don’t hear anything by the end of today, I’ll get into them. Thank you for the advice - it wouldn’t occur to me to go through NHSE so will bear it in mind

@ChelseaCat No worries :) I just think with COVID it's a bit chaotic at the moment and my midwife said there's a baby boom - here at least so maybe where you are?

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow, had my booking app a few days ago now I have to wait for my scan letter 😥 I wish I'd booked a private scan before now. I'm guessing I'll be close to 13 weeks when I go for my scan. With my daughter I was 12 weeks and 5 days x
