Is this a really faint line or are my eyes deceiving me?

Ive been an eager beaver and taken a test a week before af is due. I think i can see a really faint line but not sure if its just because i want there to be one. Can anyone else see it? Is it even possible to get a positive this early? Thanks

I can see a faint line but it seems more grey to me, which I know can happen sometimes which these type of tests if left for a while.

Is this a One Step test? They are horrendous for indents/evap lines! Your best bet will be to wait a few days and try again with a FRER (sorry I know the waiting is awful!)

@MrsB2019x yes, it's a One Step test. Will test with a better one in a few days. Thanks all for responses.

I can’t see a line. I took an early response test 4 days before period was due and got a negative test - I’m now 21 weeks pregnant. Try again on the day your period is due :)

I also see it (if it came up in time frame) and second what the poster above says, you really need a first response!

Thats what my One Step tests looked like a week before AF! :)

Im 6 weeks pregnant now. Didn't get AF, my previous message was confusing.

Looks like an evap... had loads on those tests 😐

Congratulations @TalulaBella  did your line disappear after 30 odd minutes? My line disappeared so thinking it was just an evap line like @SunnySideUp2020 said. Going to get another test today although af is still not due for a good few days so not going to get my hopes up just yet.

I know alot of people say the one step are known for evap lines, but was never the case for me, each faint line I saw developed into a stronger line. Did the line appear straight away? Keeping fingers crossed it gets darker over the next week and us you positive!

@Misspacorabanne it took about 1-2 minutes for the line to appear getting ever so slightly more visible then it disappeared after about 30 minutes. Ive been reading loads about them being notorious for evap lines. Hoping it's not the case for me 😬

@shuz1980 I was told was an EVAP, although evaps appear after the time frame normalle etc. I tested across 3 brands and it took over a week to get more positive lines. :)
