Did you notice an increase in braxton hicks before going into labour?

I’m 36+4 with my third. I’ve had braxton hicks randomly for a few months but I’ve noticed over the last week they’re more common and way more intense. They’re not in a specific pattern and are totally random but they’re getting so uncomfortable. I used to get them of a night when lying down but now it’s during the day too. Last night I had to use a hot water bottle to try and ease the discomfort.
Has anyone noticed this happening before going into labour? Or is this absolutely no indication of anything. DS1 came at 36 weeks so I’m probably looking into things way too much. It’s just nice to be hopeful that baby could be here in the next couple of weeks (hopefully before due date).

I've always had an increase in braxton hicks from around 34 weeks.
I've been getting them constantly the past week.
But I've always gone to almost 42 weeks with my pregnancies.
It's normal for them to increase as its your body practicing. But doesn't mean you're close to labour.
