Hi my doctor has said I have a tumour on my purity gland(found via blood and mri) and I have not had a period for 2 years my doctor has rang me and said I definitely have a lump and I have high prolactin "6000" they rang and said I will be starting cabergoline and they said I could possibly ovulate again which is great!! I'm just wondering how soon should I wait to ttc or dose it not matter?? And will it affect my health if i don’t wait till my treatment is done ? I'm just wondering how will they shrink it if I get pregnant they didn't tell me to not get pregnant they just told me be careful contraception wise if I didn't want a baby as the medicine could make u ovulate so you could end up pregnant🥰.
I'm just wondering has anyone been through the Same thing as me ?
How long did everyone wait?
Will it affect your recovery?
Is there anything I should know about taking this medicine thanks x

Just take it with food in the evening , if you fall pregnant you stop treatment immediately . What I would do is try to
Lower your levels first before trying as they are very high . Shrink the tumor first then get pregnant. Soon as you stop breastfeeding the baby you can start treatment again .

It may take a few months of treatment to get your levels so you can conceive

I took it for ovarian hyperstimulation following ivf. It really messed with my blood pressure. I'd recommend taking just before bed.
