Overdue :(

Anyone else overdue?
I'm 5 days overdue now, and feeling so drained!
This is my 3rd child,
DS1 was 7 days late, DS2 was 3 days late. Obviously I know he'll arrive when his ready but just feeling flat 😩

Thanks ladies. I’m back home still contracting but I ended up discharging myself as I was left in triage waiting room for 4 hours whilst they tried to find me a bed on the ward. I was getting worked up from the pain and just needed my husband for support. I’m just waiting for them to get to 5 minutes apart so that we can go back and finally get given a delivery room. This labour is turning into a right nightmare 🙄 22 hours ago my contractions started properly

Oh no @KB13 that must’ve been awful being stuck in the waiting room all that time! And so tough having contractions for so long. I hope things are moving along better for you now

@KB13 sorry to hear things arent going as fast for you! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 baby makes an appearance today!

My little boy arrived this morning at 1.54 after a 25 hour labour. I was stuck at contractions every 15 minutes until midnight when they went to every 6 minutes, 15 minutes later every 2 minutes. Midwife broke my waters at 1.30 and he was born 24 minutes later. It all happened so quickly though that he pood in the womb and came out not breathing. Thankfully everything is ok and he is an absolute dream. Should be discharged from hospital in an hour ☺️

Thank you 😊 we are really good. He is an absolute dream so far. Slept for 5 hours straight last night which was amazing after being awake for over 30 hours. I can’t stop staring at him. I hope the rest of you aren’t waiting too much longer x

Morning ladies! How are we all doing? Thought my waters had gone yesterday early hours whilst I was on the loo (admittedly half asleep and they’ve never broken until baby pops out before), but sadly not! Getting a bit impatient now! Couldn’t have my sweep yesterday until they were sure it wasn’t my waters so now have to wait until Friday x

@dinosaur17 how far are you now?
I've never experienced waters breaking, only having them to do them! So I wouldn't really Know what to be looking for 😂

@bubblybon20 due on Sunday, I went over with the older 2 but the midwife seemed convinced this one was arriving before 38 weeks, which I don’t think has helped my mindset!
Any sign of your LO yet?

DS they tried to break my waters at 8cm as I wasn’t progressing but they still wouldn’t go, DD I think they must have gone just before she came out but I was in the pool so didn’t notice. I was so confused sat on the loo 😂

@KB13 congratulations on the birth of your baby. Hope you both recover soon. You did it 👏!!!! You must be well chuffed!!! 😃

@dinosaur17 yeah that wouldn't have helped at all if you was expecting little one that early! 😩 no sign of him arriving anytime soon! Midwife has booked my in for an induction on Thursday 41+5! So currently isolating with DH and the kids as had to have a COVID test, Which isn't ideal, as they wanted to go school! 🤦🏻‍♀️😩

Oh @bubblybon20 how are you feeling about your induction? Hopefully all goes well and baby arrives quickly!
That’s a shame, I don’t know if I could have taken another week homeschooling!

@dinosaur17 I'm actually feeling really nervous/anxious! Think the idea of everything been forced to happen, rather than natural.. does that make sense 😂 least he'll defiantly arrive soon tho! And I know, I was hoping to rest slightly before he arrived! But that's out the window lol 😂

@bubblybon20 I really hope something happens for you soon, but just in case....

My 3rd induced at 42wks, they popped my waters, made me walk to the loo. In that time I started contracting and she was born 2hrs later. I had just gas and air and delivered her standing up which I felt great about.

My 4th took more effort but he was induced at 40wks due to size so early for me. I needed the drip, opted for the epidural too before drip was started and he was born 4hrs after I went into established labour. So definitely not bad.

It's just the thought of imminent induction I think, when you know you could not be readier!!

@bubblybon20 I think I’d be nervous too! Keeping my fingers crossed for you everything goes well and baby arrives promptly!

I am super super tired this week and very emotional so hoping this may be the start, or could just be that I’m very very pregnant 😂

@BurningBenches both of your births sound reassuring! Hopefully the induction will be fairly straight forward and not too long! 😀
