Dealing with pregnancy symptoms

Just wondering how everyone deals/dealt with their first trimester pregnancy symptoms?
My first pregnancy went smoothly, with slight morning nausea in the first trimester and tiredness/fatigue which was remedied after a nice nap. But my second pregnancy has me exhausted (I actually feel worse after a nap), nausea all day long, headaches, heartburn... and the hunger pangs are unbelieveable!

Oh the joys eh!
You don't say if you have a child/toddler already (don't want to assume your first pregnancy lead to a healthy birth), but if you do is s/he contributing to your tiredness? Or any other changed circumstances, job/life stress etc?
Other than that every baby is different. My first pregnancy I had moderate all-day nausea, debilitating tiredness and was really hungry. This pregnancy is the same nausea-wise, but only a bit tired and extremely unbelievably hungry.
Assume you eat little and often to help the nausea? If so, keep ploughing on really. Sorry I have no better advice. 8 weeks just now and hoping the nausea eases off about 11 weeks like last time...

I had ceaseless nausea and daily vomiting for my whole pregnancy...and wound up seeing the special pregnant-woman psychiatrist for most of my pregnancy.

You could say I didn't cope well...

Oh I completely understand how you feel hun...when I woke up this morning I felt so scared out. Trying to get my son to school. I'm only 5 weeks and 4 days and feel very heady and exhausted most days. I'm resting and napping as often as I can. Drinking water and being in bed is the only thing that is working lol xx

I don't know people manage with a pregnancy already being a mum - I'm struggling so much at the moment and this is my first. Thankfully haven't had loads of actual sickness but I'm the same with the constant nausea, bloating, tiredness and now headaches, joyful!! I'm 13+6 and praying it will get better soon.
But honestly - pregnant mums are superheroes!

Not dealt with them very well at all.

I'm 11+2 and have had constant nausea, vomiting at least twice a day, extreme exhaustion, dizziness if I sit longer than 10 minutes, headaches, absolutely gone off all food. All this since 6+1. I'm on my fourth set of anti-emetics as nothing works after a few days

It's awful. I hate it. I just stay in bed all day while my amazing MIL looks after my little girl. I cry most days as I can't imagine it improving after this long.

It's her first birthday on Friday and I'm feeling so guilty I won't be able to be there for her 100%. I just feel drained.

That sounds rough. I’m pregnant the third time and I have found that I’ve had different symptoms in each pregnancy and they just haven’t been totally the same. I found my first trimester a bit easier this time around (less nausea and fatigue) but my third trimester a lot harder - more symptoms than before, more tiredness and worse insomnia. Hopefully things will really ease up for you in the second trimester and you’re getting the hardest part of the pregnancy over with first.
