How long after booking appointment did you get scan date?

Hi,
I had my booking appointment on Thursday, mw said i will get the appointment in the post so im still waiting as I know it wasnt that long ago lol. Im just wandering how long after the appointment did others get 12week scan date? I am 11+4 now

Do you have the phone number for your ultra sound department? It might be worth giving them a ring as it's getting close to your 12 week date.

I think it took about a week for me to get the letter, but I was only 8 weeks at my booking appointment. I agree with the other poster - give them a nudge 😊

I got my letter the same day as my phone booking app, our trust has gone paperless so all letters are digital. Booking app was at 9+3, scan at 12+3 but they dated me at 13wk by baby size.

I got mine the day I phoned up and got my date for booking in.

I got my letter about a week before my scan (so letter at 11wks, scan was at 12+1) I had my booking appointment at 9 weeks and they told me there that I had to self-refer to the hospital (just had to send an email).

Ive just called and they already had me booked in for 17th March. I’ll be 13+4 then, she said its fine as tests etc need to be done before 14 weeks. Seems like forever away haha.

This is my 3rd child but last baby was 10 years ago so literally forgot absolutely everything lol

There's a chance they've booked you in for a scan but there has been a mix up with the paperwork, so I'd give them a ring to check.

For what it's worth I had so much trouble sorting my booking appointment, I actually got the letter about my scan before I'd even seen the midwife as I think it's triggered by telling them you're pregnant (at least in my trust).

I've been wondering about this. I even have started to think did I need to book the 12wk scan appointment myself?
I had my booking in appointment last week on Tuesday so just over a week ago.

I was starting to think i had to book my own too as id been given an obstetrics appt for when im 18weeks via digital but nothing for dating scan lol.

Give them a call, I rang and said I’m just trying to chase up my dating scan appointment, she said do you mean the one you’ve got on the 17th March or different one lol. Didn't know I had one on 17th as nothing was sent out.
Definitely worth giving your ultrasound dept a quick call xx

Feeling so nervous about the 12wk appointment it's our first baby and really just want everything to be ok.
