Negative tests but pregnancy symptoms

I'm 7 days late on my period (sometimes I have irregular peiriods), having bad lower backache, white discharge, nipples sensitive and extreme bloated but negative pregnancy tests. I was very lightly spotting on the 9th- 12th February, my periods are usually heavy. I'm going to take another test in a few days but has anyone had late positive tests?

Yes I didn't get a positive til I was 10 days late! I usually have long ish cycles (30-34 days) but even if I ovulated late I was very late for my period.

Hi, im worried it was 24 days already after doing the deed (feb 8- 1st day of my period) he came inside me. I took ECP (postinor) 4 days later. (Im using Noriday, pop pills ) however, since im uncertain on noriday, i still chose to take an ecp. Usually, ecp works for me after 6-8 days of taking it i immediately will have my period.then comes feb 13, he came inside me again and i took another ECP on the 17th. And its march 2 now and still not showing any period. I believed i had implantation bleeding (feb 19-24) bright red, brown spotting and doesnt even fill a liner.. Ive tested several PT using FRER and Ckearblue as I am panicking. But its driving me crazy. Day 24 of my cycle now using FRER i think i saw a very faint line or maybe this is just an indent line? Hellp!!!!

I had the same on a clear blue early detection, I could see a barely visible line but my partner couldn't so I wasn't sure if I was just sending myself crazy! The waiting feels like forever!! I hope everything goes well for you

How do you mean, you're uncertain on your pop? How many pills have you missed/been late for?

So you've had a negative pregnancy test, you're on the mini pill, you've taken the morning after pill and you only had sex once on the first day of your cycle?

You are not pregnant.

It really sounds like you want to be, so are clutching at straws that are not there. Is the person you had sex with aware of this?

OP - PMS symptoms are very very similar to pregnancy symptoms.

Do you track ovulation or just your periods?

For pop to be 99% it shud be taken same time everyday. So even though im still on 3hr leeway, if i took it not on the same time, effectiveness of it decreases by atleast 5% thats what the nurse told me.. Thats why i've taken ecp's.

But i've taken the POSTINOR on the 4th day of the deed. Id have sex on 8th, and 13th both deeds he came inside me. I took ecp on the 12th, (for the feb 8th) and another ecp on 17th for the (13th) after my last menstrual period..both were taken late. And that scare the fuck out of me. I had bleeding which i suspect either implantation or breakthrough from the ecp. Also what im really worried about is those pt's thay shows indent/evap. I never experienced it with frers. I also have one sided pain in my left pelvis, and always naseous everyday, morn and night and no appetite. I know its too early, but im stressing out with me being possible with ectopic, knowing im on minipill and failed ecp (in case im really is preg)

Get a different POP. I was on one for a decade and it had a 12 hour window- anytime in that window and you're fine. I'd stop taking ECP's so regularly, if I were you- they're a pretty massive hormone dose and, although less traumatic for your body than a pregnancy and termination, it's not good to have them so frequently. They're not designed to be used as a regular method of contraception and aren't actually as reliable as most regular methods of contraception. If you can't find a POP with a better window, consider an implant or mirena coil.

Oh, and studies show that some of the ECPs only actually work prior to ovulation anyway, so won't help you if you've had sex on the day of/shortly after ovulation.
