I am and due to lockdown I just feel so alone compared to my last pregnancy.
Wondered if anyone would want to start a thread where we all compare how we're feeling!

I am. 8+5 today based on an early scan I had a couple of weeks ago. Feel shit as I have HG, this is my second. Each day goes soooo slowly whilst I'm bed/sofa bound and my mood is diving. Just holding on hope that it will improve at 12-16 weeks like it did with my first. How are you all getting on?

I don't think I have HG touchwood but I have such bad, all day nausea which I worry will soon turn to vomiting (I'm emetophobic) same as you each day seems to drag and each night I'm thinking that's another day over while waking each morning thinking here's another day to get through. I keep having thoughts that I can't do this x

Hi! 8+2 and I have been so nauseous all day every day since 6 weeks. Been sick pretty much every other day. So thrilled to be pg but can’t wait until 2nd trimester, tired of feeling crap and despising all food!

altlife · 01/03/2021 17:59

I had a couple of weeks of feeling exhausted, nauseous but no sickness, and generally awful. I felt achy and kept going from hot to cold and back. I can't face food for a couple of days then I have a day where I can't eat enough. But the past few days I've felt a little more normal, although still get tired much earlier and not sleeping too great. I've been having the most vivid dreams lately which I'm loving!

This is my second and I'm having a hard time 'believing' I'm pregnant. I mean I know I am. I've done 3 tests! But I think mentally this time round I don't 'feel' it yet. Hoping that will change once I've seen the midwife and had first scan.

How have things been for you?

Choclover89 · 01/03/2021 18:04

Hi I'm somewhere between 10 and 11 weeks and I feel truly miserable. The exhaustion is crippling and the nausea, sickness and food aversions (pretty much everything now) are awful too. I'm having a right old pity party! Finding it hard to be at home all day with my 1yo too who is full of beans. @harrywantedmefirst I know what you mean I keep thinking I can't carry on like this much longer Confused but it will pass and we will get there!

Choclover89 · 01/03/2021 18:07

@MeadowHay HG must be horrific Confused

ILoveBountys · 01/03/2021 18:26

I'm 8+6 :)

Sorry you have such bad sickness for those that have it - I just have nausea too... and food aversion not able to plan, can't stand the smell of cooking....eating badly because I'd rather that than nothing. People say it passes, usually by 2nd trimester so I'm hanging on to that.
Sore boobs, bloating, terrible skin!!!

The days are dragging so much; I'm 40 so we're at higher risk for some things and I'm feeling every hour of every day; the NIPT scan we have booked never feels any closer and we're not letting ourselves get excited about the pregnancy until the big hurdles are out the way.
Think if I could keep busy I could keep my mind off it all but I'm home all day, every day - lockdown is definitely a big part of it for me.

But, all that aside it's nice to come on this site and not feel alone or worried about a symptom, find out how everyone is doing and get out of my head :)
And - hopefully - in a few weeks I will know if it's OK and be able to relax into things and enjoy, or not and cross that bridge.

Anyone feeling nauseous; travel sickness bands worked for me!

MeadowHay · 01/03/2021 19:09

If people are really struggling with nausea/sickness please speak to your GP, there is a variety of medication available. I take two lots at present which is helping but I still have to essentially move as little as possible or the vomiting starts back up again. I felt v hopeless first time around, my HG was worse and I felt like I just couldn't do it, however having survived that and remembering I started to feel better coming out of the first trimester, that is helping me get through it this time.

I am also anxious about this pregnancy and not wanting to get too ahead of myself like you say, I have had brown bleeding throughout so far hence the early scan. They said everything looked fine but I still feel uneasy with the bleeding as never had any with my first.

pixiedust21 · 01/03/2021 23:26

I'm 7+6 :)

A bit concerned that I don't have a lot of symptoms. Definitely no nausea. All I have is cramping (every evening) and sore boobs/nipples. Generally feeling very well, which I suppose I should be glad about!!

Just hoping things are okay, trying to hang on til the 12 week scan x

Kona84 · 02/03/2021 06:49

What is HG?

pixiedust21 · 02/03/2021 10:48

@Kona84 hyperemesis gravidarum - really severe sickness.

RadDarwazeh · 02/03/2021 12:24

I've found ginger sweets you can get from Holland and Barrett are really good for nausea, girls. I'm 10+6 today.

Pixiedust21 - some ladies barely have symptoms. Some hit at particular weeks. So don't worry Hun. Stress is not good. Sending hugs.

pixiedust21 · 02/03/2021 12:49

@RadDarwazeh thank you. I wouldn't say I was really stressing but I just keep thinking it's odd. But yes I know it can be normal for symptoms to come randomly and some people don't get sickness at all.

Looking forward to the scan to check all is ok :)
