I'm 33 weeks pregnant and this morning woke to wet pyjama bottoms (not soaked) and when I went to the toilet I noticed pink watery/mucus discharge on my tissue (photo attached). I rang triage who told me to keep an eye on things and put a pad on, which I have done and since had some more pink discharge. I've attached both photos! I don't know if I should ring back up, I sat on the toilet earlier today to check my pad and water came out into the toilet bowl without me needing a wee or pushing for one but unsure if it was just urine as I couldn't check it. I've had cramps all week on and off and a bad stomach along with that but I posted previously about my iron tablets as I was unsure if it connected to them. Anybody got any advice? I just hate ringing triage I feel like a nuisance.
Thank you :)

If it was me, I would ring back and explain what you just have on this post.
If you feel worried, you should request that you go in and get checked - It will put your mind as rest if you can be seen.
I am sure everything is fine, but keep us posted! xx

surreymum89 · 26/02/2021 14:46

Yes I would ring back , you have kept an eye on it like they said and it has continued so I would explain that.

Mamamamasaurus · 26/02/2021 14:48

I would call them back. I had similar and I was losing amniotic fluid, slowly but it may need to be monitored

SomethingAboutNothing · 26/02/2021 14:57

Absolutely call them back and explain about the fluid when you were on the toilet, it sounds quite possible your waters have gone. They can do a quick test to see if it was amniotic fluid.

Thank you for the responses, il give them a call back :)

Please call them back and explain that it has continued so they can monitor you. Thats exactly what happened to me and i ended up delivering dd1 a day later 6 weeks early Flowers

I'd call back
And tell them about the water coming out. Sounds like it could be your waters leaking

pineapplejuice20 · 26/02/2021 16:13

It was only a small amount of water and I haven't felt anything since, I've never experienced it before though. It's more the pink mucus/discharge I'm worried about could that be waters leaking? With my daughter I was induced my waters went but I didn't even know they had! Somehow 🤣

So it got heavier. I'm up at the labour ward currently! Hope it's nothing. 😩

Waters can be a small trickle that slowly leaks. Some people don't even notice.

Good luck. You're in the best place ❤️

kittensmittens1 · 27/02/2021 02:59

Well I'm home! They checked my cervix and saw no cause for the bleeding, my cervix was closed. My BP was a little high but nothing they was concerned about, this morning I've woke with now brown discharge on my pad, no idea what's causing it! 😖 how bizarre
