10 weeks pregnant, light pink discharge

I am 10 weeks pregnant (11 weeks tomorrow) and today have noticed pink discharge when I have been wiping. I've phoned the early pregnancy ward who have advised to put a pad on and monitor it that way. It's sort of pinkish/brown and mucusy if that makes sense.

I'm getting cramps but I've had them on and off with the pregnancy so hard to tell if if it's a bad sign or not. I'm absolutely beside myself with worry. I had a scan at 8 weeks that showed a strong heartbeat. I can't relax and crying as everything I read about it points to a miscarriage.

Hi @Krimson I dont have any experience but it could be nothing to worry about, ive read lots of stories about coloured discharge/light spotting and its turned out OK. Can you get in contact with your EPU for a scan or book one privately? Sending lots of love and I hope its all okay for you xxx

I've had a heavy bleed in both my pregnancy's at 6 weeks. Both times turned out to be implantation bleed. I did go and have scan both times. I had pain in my left side on my last bleed so it could have been eptopic pregnancy xx

It could be innocent with it more being pink/brown and only when you wipe. Hopfully it will stop in a day or 2, I had this after sex at almost 14wk and all is fine.
If it gets heavier then epau should offer you a scan. Good luck

I understand your worry. In July I was pregnant, had a scan at 8wk which confirmed a hb. 4 days after the scan I got spotting, the next day it got more frequent and my cesarean scar started hurting. It continued to get heavier for 2 more days then the 3rd I passed baby in a perfect little ball of sac, It was soul destroying.
15+1wk with this little one though and it's doing well.

Not good news. Had a scan today which confirmed that the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. Seems unbearably cruel.
